Implanted

The implant went fine today, but that procedure is relatively easy compared to the retrieval… The doctor said it was a textbook procedure.

We implanted 2 embryos.

I forgot to mention that they retrieved 20 eggs this time around, and 16 of them “took.” After having watched them develop in the lab, they told me today that we will probably have 10 to freeze. So this means we will have 10+2=12 (with the other cycle.)

It’s hard, as I sit here watching a show on Discovery Health about IVF procedures… tough stuff to watch; the stories, struggles and then the successes… I am watching the exact procedure that I had on Sunday and today…

So anyway… here goes the “2-week wait.”
