We had a really nice evening tonight... We haven't gone out to a "nice" restaurant for a long time, so it was nice to go to our favorite “celebration” restaurant: The Chart House. And they gave us a table right on the window - so our view was perfect! The food was SO GOOD (we ate like little pigs, but oh well!)
Now for the news everyone really wants to know:
BACKGROUND: Everyone has suspected a girl - mostly because of the strong heartbeat all along. And yes, a girl is what my gynecologist had given me as her guess a couple of weeks ago (after looking at the ultrasound in her office.) So Joe and I went into this evening pretty much knowing what to expect.
So, you can imagine the shock when we opened up the envelope and saw the “BOY” box was checked… I had to do a double-take. We were both quite surprised by it – but of course had no “real” preference, in the end. However we are a bit leery of the results now… just because we had 2 differing opinions. So… I might ask my doctor to see if we can do another ultrasound on Tuesday when I go in to see her for my regular appointment. Would just be nice to know if she sees something different than she did before.

hahahaa! isn't that just how it goes? see someone is not letting you plan or know a single thing about this baby? maybe there are twins in there...one hiding behind the other all along :-)
