I first just wanted to thank those of you who have sent emails/thoughts... I really appreciate all of the kind words and prayers. I know it's not easy to know how to react/respond to someone going through all of this... but just know you are appreciated and all of the words have meant a lot.
No real updates on anything the past couple of days. I haven't experienced anything abnormal... I have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow morning @ 7:50am & then a follow-on appt. with the OBGYN @ 12:10pm. I am hoping we will have some definitive answers at that time.
I did get blood taken yesterday (at my primary care) but never did get the results from them. Who knows if I will hear from them today or not. I just wanted to see what my hcg levels were doing.
Yesterday, the nurse from Jean-Baptiste’s (OBGYN) office called and we had a long chat - she was nice and helpful about information (boy was that a change of pace!) I got her up to speed on my situation, as she was out of the office on Monday. So she walked me through the options and next steps and really explained things in a bit more detail.
What she did share with me is that with an hcg of 13,000 - 20,000, typically you should be at the point where you always see a heartbeat. So that is why the ER came to the conclusion they did, without knowing how far along I was.
Probably won't have any additional updates today (unless I get the hcg results, but not holding my breath on that one.)
We have "officially" cancelled our trip to Mexico... that was a tough one to swallow and it made my heart very sad.
